Sunday School Training Conference

Hello my friend,

     This is Bro. Mike Hazlewood, pastor of Zion Baptist church in Benton. It is my joy and privilege to invite you to be a part of an great event for our churches in Polk county. We will be having a Sunday School Training conference at Camp Agape on February 17th, at 8:00 a.m.. The training will start with breakfast at 8:00 a.m. and transition to conference at 9:00 a.m. The training will conclude at 12:00 p.m. (noon).

     Our facilitator will be Bro. Scott Douglas. Scott & Theresa Douglas grew up in Jefferson County.  And they have been serving the local church together since their days in at Hannibal-LaGrange University.  Scott earned a degree in Speech Communications while Theresa earned her degree in Early Childhood Education.  Scott & Theresa work together as a dynamic team who lead in grace and truth. 

In 2016 they were assessed by the NAMB and Missouri Baptist Convention and approved as Church Planting Missionaries.  Impact Church launch team began gathering that year to pray and plan, and by God's grace Impact Church launched September 10, 2017 with 106 in attendance.  5 people have been baptized since they began meeting!

They enjoy mentoring people in their faith, and hosting Community Group where they seek to connect common people to the uncommon love of Jesus.  Prior to their launch Impact Church was on mission in Lansing, Kansas helping a partner church reach their city for Jesus!  

We believe 2018 is going to be the greatest year ever in the life of Impact Church as we seek to make disciples and Impact the world for Jesus! 

     Please feel free to invite all your folk who are teachers, assistant teachers, and those who love to study God's word. Both men and women. Please contact me by email, phone, or text to let me the approximate number that will be attending. We will fix breakfast accordingly.

     We also look forward to your input and drawing from the years of accumulative experience that will be in the room. I believe we all can benefit from strengthening and equipping our S.S. teachers and people who love to study the bible.. 

     I look forward to hearing from you and am excited of what our Heavenly Father can do through us as we serve Him together!
